Is so get 1/4 thick mesh steel, it is diamond shape holes. Then have a frame of angle iron welded to it with a couple cross supports 1/3 the distance from each side. This helps keep it from sagging over time with heat. (example; 24in X 48in have a cross brace in from each side on the 48in so that would be 16in)|||Stainless...10-12 gauge should last for awhile
